Mannat Bedi

Mannat Bedi serves as the Director of Community Affairs for the Wayne State Student Senate and has been involved with Wayne State University since May 2020. Bedi also works as a Research Assistant at the Wayne State University School of Medicine under Dr. David Ledgerwood in the Nicotine and Tobacco Research Division. In addition, Bedi holds the position of Professional Chair for Delta Epsilon Mu, a pre-health professional fraternity, and manages proctoring and tutoring at Kabir's Prep for standardized tests. Previous experience includes roles as a Medical Assistant at Beverly Hills Skincare Institute, a Programming & Communications Intern at Global Ties Detroit, a Physical Therapy Technician at Michigan Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, an online tutor for the Detroit Education Society, and an intern for Nicole Bedi’s State Representative campaign. Bedi is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine, following a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Wayne State University.
