Mohammed Ismail is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in electrical and computer engineering. Currently serving as a professor and Chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Wayne State University since January 2017, Mohammed previously held prominent positions as Director, Professor, and ECE Founding Chair at Khalifa University from April 2011 to January 2017, and as a professor and founding Director of the Analog VLSI Lab at The Ohio State University from July 1988 to April 2013. Additional roles include professorships at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from March 2003 to December 2011 and at the University of Nebraska from August 1983 to 1988. Mohammed Ismail earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manitoba between 1981 and 1983.
