Sara Maher

Sara Maher serves as the Associate Dean of Health Sciences and Professor of Physical Therapy at Wayne State University since June 2014, holding various leadership positions including Interim Associate Dean and Chair of the Department of Health Care Sciences. Prior to this role, Sara Maher was an Associate Professor at Oakland University from August 2006 to June 2014 and worked as a Physical Therapist at Preferred Rehabilitation Inc. from February 2011 to February 2014. Sara Maher earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Evaluation and Research from Wayne State University between 2017 and 2020, a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Oakland University from 2002 to 2006, and a Master of Physical Therapy from Wayne State University.
