Alfred Songy

Alfred "John" Songy is a seasoned database professional with extensive experience in database administration and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Database Administration Engineering at Waystar since May 2017, Songy previously worked as a Senior Database Administrator Consultant at NetStandard, Inc. from March 2015 to May 2017. Songy's career includes significant roles at Jack Henry & Associates, USDA, and Sprint Nextel, where responsibilities ranged from leading technical teams to providing operational support for SQL Server high-availability systems. With a foundation in scientific programming from the USGS National Water Quality Laboratory, Songy holds a high school diploma from Thomas More Prep and completed further education at the University of Colorado Boulder.
