Fergal Cotter is a Lead Applied Scientist and Perception Team Lead at Wayve since September 2019, with prior experience as a Researcher in the same company. Previously, Fergal served as a Controls Engineer at Dematic ANZ from September 2013 to August 2015, focusing on PLC, SCADA, commissioning engineering, design, and tools development. Earlier experience includes a role as a Controls Engineer at Fast Automation for a brief period in early 2013 and an internship as a Controls Engineer at Provecta in 2011, specializing in DCS upgrades. Fergal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Signal Processing from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from UNSW.
