Jan Hünermann

Jan Hünermann is a Senior Applied Scientist at Wayve since September 2021, specializing in training neural networks for autonomous driving and leading efforts in multi-agent reinforcement learning. Prior experience includes an AI Scholarship at BMW Group, focusing on monocular self-supervised depth estimation, and a venture project at Avi Medical developing intelligent scheduling software. Hünermann also served as a Robot Software Engineering Intern at Magazino GmbH, worked as a Student Research Assistant at the Technical University of Munich, and completed a Software Engineering Internship at Demodern. Academically, Hünermann holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an Honours Degree in Technology Management from the Center for Digital Technology and Management. An exchange semester was completed at the National University of Singapore.
