Jacob Sexton is an experienced photojournalist with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently serving at WBAL-TV11 | NBC since November 2021, Jacob specializes in shooting and editing packages for air, as well as handling video feeds from the SkyTeam 11 helicopter. Prior experience includes roles at FOX 45 WBFF-TV Baltimore and WRIC-TV ABC 8News, where Jacob was responsible for producing news packages and managing live shots for various newscasts. Jacob's background also features positions in editing and production at organizations such as WWBT/NBC12 Raycom Media and VCU InSight, along with involvement in community service initiatives through VCU ASPiRE. With a solid foundation in broadcasting and operational skills from earlier employment, Jacob has developed a comprehensive understanding of visual storytelling in news media.
