James Johnson began their work experience in 2017 at KBRwyle, where they served as F/A-18 Maintenance Readiness Team. James held the positions of FRCMA Oceana, 600 Division Leading Chief and Leading 253 professionals and nine civilian artisans for Level II/III intermediate level repair. James also served as the Quality Assurance Supervisor for VFA-136 Oceana, leading the Quality Assurance Division in performing audits and monitoring program compliance within Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs. James also worked as a Maintenance Supervisor and Safe for Flight on F/A-18E aircraft. In 2018, they joined Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) as a Navy Targets Budget Analyst.
James Johnson completed 30 semester hours towards a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2008 to 2016. James also completed 15 semester hours in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Western Connecticut State University from 1993 to 1994. In 2011, they attended a Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor program, and in 2009, they attended a Command Managed Equal Opportunity Program Manager program.
