Alex B. Keefe is an experienced journalist currently serving as Engagement Editor at Chicago Public Media since February 2017, where responsibilities include integrating engagement journalism into WBEZ's newsroom and overseeing the Prisoncast! project. Previously, Keefe held several roles at WBEZ, including Editor and Senior Editor for the Government & Politics Team, managing coverage of state, local, and national politics. Prior experience includes hosting All Things Considered and co-founding the Brave Little State podcast at Vermont Public Radio from November 2014 to January 2017, as well as serving as a reporter and Morning Edition Producer at WVIK. Keefe's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Fiction Writing/Journalism from Knox College.
