Joshua Eachus has a diverse work experience background. Joshua started their career as a Server/Bartender at Harry's Savoy Grill & Ballroom, where they worked for seven years and earned three promotions. In 2009, they joined California University of Pennsylvania as a News Director/Producer/Reporter for their cable TV station, CUTV. Following this, they worked as a Meteorologist/Reporter at Sinclair Broadcast Group's affiliate WTOV9 from 2010 to 2013. During their time there, they were promoted to the position of weekend meteorologist. In 2013, Eachus became the Chief Meteorologist at WBRZ-TV, and they are currently the owner of YourCast, a company specializing in weather analysis for events and vacations.
Joshua Eachus has a strong educational background in the field of meteorology and weather communication. Joshua began their education in 2005 at PennWest California, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology in 2009. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Sports Management from PennWest California in 2010. Determined to excel in their chosen field, Joshua continued their studies and received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Geography/Weather Communication from Louisiana State University in 2017.

WBRZ’S award winning news offers exclusive investigations, weather and is the home of LSU sports. As the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters’ Community Station of the Year, we also put on several community service projects every year such as Pats Coats for Kids, Fill a Prescription and Stuff the Bus. WBRZ works hard to not only be the best station for its viewers but also to be the best company for its employees.
