The Station was founded by Douglas L. Manship in April of 1955 and is still owned by the Manship family today. WBRZ has been an ABC affiliate since 1977 and airs shows such as Wheel of Fortune, Scandal, Dancing with the Stars and Jimmy Kimmel Live. WBRZ’S award winning news offers exclusive investigations, weather and is the home of LSU sports.
