Grace Sosa

Grace Sosa is a current undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Analytics along with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. As a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Ambassador at the UNC Department of Computer Science, Grace advocates for inclusion by organizing events and workshops for historically excluded communities. In addition, Grace works as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Bai Lab, focusing on enhancing efficiency in online muscle tracking data relevant to wearable bioelectronic devices. Prior experience includes a Technology Analyst Intern position at Accenture, where Grace automated application security processes using AI and conducted text analysis on Azure User Stories. Other roles have included serving as a STEM & Coding Instructor at Zebra Robotics and various positions in retail and food service. Academic history includes a Bachelor's degree from UNSW in Computer Science expected in December 2024, and previous studies in Statistics at North Carolina State University.
