Recognizing the high potential for business expansion and growth, Woori Bank partnered with VDC to acquire WealthBank in 2016.

WealthBank provides a wide range of mass market financial products and services such as the traditional savings and deposit products, salary loans to public teachers and employees, housing loans, auto loans, and many more. With the thrust to provide safe and convenient financial services, the bank also offers an Internet Banking Service (IBS) that is both available on the website and mobile application. It allows customers to do fund transfer via InstaPay and PESONet, pay their bills, view account balances, and other banking transactions anytime, anywhere.

The synergy between Woori Bank and VDC will also expand WealthBank’s reach to serve the Korean Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) market, Korean businesses operating around the country, Korean citizens visiting and working in the Philippines, and the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).
