Julien Wetterwald has worked at Wealthfront in multiple roles. Julien started as a Principal Software Engineer in 2007 and held this position until 2012. Julien then joined Wonga.com as a Principal Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Julien returned to Wealthfront in 2015 and served as a Distinguished Software Engineer until 2019. From September 2019 onwards, they have been working as the CTO at Wealthfront.
Julien Wetterwald obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) during the years 2004 to 2007. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2007 to 2009.
