Avie Seegobin

Avie Seegobin is a Senior Software Engineer at Wealthsimple since January 2022, bringing extensive experience from previous roles. At Snap Inc. (May 2017 - January 2022), Seegobin led a multifaceted project that enabled users to create custom Bitmoji stickers using advanced C++ and Java technologies. Additionally, a new feature was implemented in the Bitmoji App during an internship at Snapchat, Inc. Internships at PumpUp, Inc. and Bitstrips involved developing features with React and leading the creation of a Chrome Extension for Bitmoji, respectively. Seegobin gained foundational skills during co-op experiences at Mosaic Sales Solutions and Proofpoint, focusing on Ruby on Rails and automation testing. Seegobin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
