Barbara Nicotera has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Barbara began their career at Kraft Foods in 1983, where they worked as a Financial Manager in Accounting & Consolidation for over a decade. In 2001, they transitioned to MTOM @ Camp Herrlich, where they served as a Program Director until 2007. Barbara then joined Fosina Marketing Group as the Chief Financial Officer, a role they held until 2015. Following that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at New York Imaging Service from 2015 to 2016. Most recently, Barbara has been employed at Kettle, where they started as an HR & Finance Manager in 2017 and currently holds the position of Director of Finance & HR.

For the last 13 years, SxSW has honored the top Web developers and designers worldwide.Kettle designed HeyWalkies in partnership with Jackson/Laycock, an iPhone application for dog owners in New York City. Apple featured the app in their TV ad commercial: Dog Lover.
