Gabe Johnson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the advertising industry. ☻ Gabe started their career at Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners as a Copywriter, where they learned the fundamentals of writing headlines and TV scripts. During their time there, they wrote and produced the holiday campaign for RadioShack and developed a documentary-style series to support the company.

Gabe then moved on to Digitas as a Copywriter, where they wrote social and video content for eBay. ☻ Gabe also created agency-wide content that centered around Groundhog Day and hosted a Bill Murray look-alike contest.

At AKQA, Gabe served as an Associate Creative Director and Copywriter. ☻ Gabe was responsible for developing location-specific, user-generated mobile video series for Jordan (NIKE) to launch the Blake Griffin sneaker. ☻ Gabe also played a pivotal role in the launch of the NVIDIA micro-console and led the $10 million NVIDIA gaming account.

Additionally, they established a media partnership with the QVC app to develop a comedic car giveaway for millennials.

Gabe later pursued freelance opportunities, working with several notable agencies such as Stink, Kettle, Digitas, Hook Studios, Grey, Muh-Tay-Zik | Hof-Fer, Stink Studios, and Eleven Inc. During their freelance tenure, they developed content strategy, wrote copy, and oversaw the development of 12 Apple websites for Kettle. ☻ Gabe also successfully launched a healthcare startup during a pandemic, achieving significant business growth, reducing CAC by 71%, and gaining over 140 press mentions within a span of 10 months.

Most recently, Gabe joined Kettle full-time as the Creative Director of the remote team. ☻ Gabe praised the agency for having the best culture they have ever experienced and highlighted the strong partnership with their main client.
