Ayanna Otite

Ayanna Otite is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Senior Director of Communications and Social Media at The Weather Channel since May 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing corporate communications. Previously, Ayanna held the position of Vice President of Communications and Brand Solutions at BCW Global from July 2018 to April 2021, focusing on enhancing brand visibility and managing communications for new products and thought leadership initiatives. Prior experience includes a progressive career at Porter Novelli as Account Manager in Corporate Communications, where achievements included delivering successful PR campaigns and fostering stakeholder relationships. Ayanna began in communications as Brand Coordinator for the Raggs Children's Television Series, developing marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, and earlier as a Public Relations Assistant at 360 Media, Inc., where media relations strategies were formulated. Ayanna Otite holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Public Relations from Georgia Southern University.
