Mark Bohon has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mark began their career at CNN in 1996 as a Traffic Assistant, ensuring the proper distribution of on-air topical promos and updating commercial log books. In 1997, they became a Traffic Coordinator, responsible for placing promos across multiple CNN networks and working closely with Ad-Sales for inventory management.
In 1998, Mark joined Turner Broadcasting System, where they held multiple roles. As a Program Names Specialist, they submitted program schedules to Nielsen and distributed overnight ratings. Later, they became a Senior Research Analyst, managing and publishing programming and network rankings. Mark eventually became a Senior Project Manager in the Programming Research department, creating and maintaining acquired series forecast estimates for the Ad-Sales team.
From 2008 to 2014, Mark served as the Director of Programming Research, leading a team and providing programming analysis, forecasting, and modeling for acquired syndicated programming on TBS and TNT cable networks. Mark also provided research support to various departments within Turner Broadcasting.
In 2015, Mark worked as a Contractor for Blurb LLC. Finally, in 2022, they joined The Weather Channel as a Manager of Strategic Insights.
Mark Bohon attended The University of Georgia from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History.
