Michael Smereski

Director Of Broadcast Engineering And Support at The Weather Group

Michael Smereski began their work experience in 1987 as an Engineer In Charge at F&F Productions. Michael then moved on to Disney Production Services in 1997, where they worked as the Manager of Technical Services until 2001. In 2001, they joined National Mobile Television as the Director of Engineering, and in 2003, they started working at The Weather Channel as the Director of Broadcast Engineering and Support, VP of Broadcast Engineering, VP Broadcast Engineering, and Chief Engineer. Michael remained at The Weather Channel until 2016.

Michael Smereski attended Cumberland County College from 1976 to 1978, where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in General studies. Following this, from 1978 to 1980, they attended Syracuse University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications Technology.
