John Taggart

John Taggart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology and sustainability. Currently serving as President and Co-founder & CTO at WeaveGrid since 2018, John has previously held significant roles at Tesla, focusing on sustainability and special projects in the Office of the CTO. John contributed to the Nissan Futures Lab and worked as a Research Assistant at the Science and Technology Policy Institute, providing policy analysis to national committees. Earlier internships at Falck Renewables SpA and Weston Solutions, Inc. further developed John’s expertise in renewable energy and business development. John holds a Ph.D. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and an A.B. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University.
