Viktor Hartung has work experience as a Software Engineer at Weber Maschinenbau GmbH since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Engineer coal-based generation at STEAG GmbH from January 2018 to May 2019. Viktor also served as a Scientific Employee at Bochum University of Applied Sciences from August 2016 to November 2017, and as a Research Assistant from January 2015 to July 2016. Viktor Hartung began their education at Vocational School Wilhelm Maybach Heilbronn from 2008 to 2010, where they received their Skilled Worker certification in Mechatronics (IHK). Viktor then attended Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Informatik from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechatronics and Microsystems Technology. Viktor furthered their education at Hochschule Bochum from 2014 to 2016, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechatronics.

Weber has been family-owned since its foundation and is now managed in the second generation by Tobias Weber (CEO), the eldest son of the company founder Günther Weber. The entire product range of high-tech machines is "Made in Germany" and has been manufactured exclusively at six German production sites since the company was founded. And: "Real quality can only be guaranteed if you manufacture as much as possible yourself and on your own responsibility". True to this motto of company founder Günther Weber, all elements made of stainless steel, right down to the hygiene screw, are produced in-house. This means an in-house production quota of 80% and is our key to the greatest possible flexibility in the interest of our customers. Our goal is to continue to promote the national and international presence of the company in future in order to be close to our customers worldwide and to provide the usual Weber service. Weber currently employs about 1,500 people at 23 locations in 18 nations, who contribute to the success of the Weber Group every day with commitment and passion.
