Susie Bates is an accomplished human resource professional and DEI champion with extensive experience across various industries in the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Weber Shandwick since January 2023, Susie previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Talent at Interpublic Group (IPG) from April 2013. Susie's prior experience includes positions such as General Manager of Talent Q China, Organizational Development and HR Consultant for a women's health and beauty company, and Group Vice-President of Recruitment at United Family Healthcare. Susie's career began at Rolls-Royce International Limited in China, playing a key role in establishing the company's operations in the region.
