Alex Nichols

Alex Nichols is a Partner at CapitalG, where responsibilities include investing in internet and software companies transforming major industries since 2018. Prior to this role, Alex served in various capacities including Vice President and Associate at Odoo, and holds Board Observer positions at Whatnot, Webflow, and Duolingo since 2021, 2020, and 2018, respectively. Alex has also acted as an investor for companies such as Stripe, UiPath, Coupa Software, and TeamSystem. Earlier experience includes a stint in tech investment banking at Goldman Sachs from 2016 to 2018. Alex holds an AB in Economics from the University of Chicago.
