David Fazio

Web Accessibility Initiative Invited Expert, Accessibility Guidelines; Cognitive, Silver Task Forces at W3C

David Fazio is the Founder and President of Helix Opportunity, a social enterprise focused on inclusive consumer product and environment design, as well as organizational development and social impact strategies. David serves as an Invited Expert for the Web Accessibility Initiative, where contributions involve developing guidelines for web content accessibility and collaborating on W3C specifications to support individuals with disabilities. In addition, David acts as a Startup Mentor at the Center for Inclusive Design & Innovation and President of Disability: IN NorCal, advocating for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workforce. Past roles include a Human Resources Staffing Consultant for Disability Rights California and board memberships with organizations supporting families of children with disabilities and the Down syndrome community. David's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies from the University of Oklahoma, along with multiple certifications in mediation and conflict resolution.
