Paul Lipton has extensive experience in industry standards and technology strategy, currently serving as a Vice President of Industry Standards and Open Source at CA Technologies since January 1988. Lipton has held key roles such as Board Member for OASIS, OMG, DMTF, and the Eclipse Foundation, as well as serving on the Advisory Committee for W3C. In addition to leadership in industry organizations, Lipton has contributed significantly to CA Technologies' strategy in web services and service-oriented architectures as Senior Architect in the Office of the CTO. Lipton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Rochester.
