Doug Scala

Doug Scala is an experienced finance and banking professional with a comprehensive career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Regional President at Webster Bank since May 2014, Doug oversees operations in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts and leads the Middle Market Lending Group for New England. Prior roles include Senior Vice President in the RI Commercial Lending Division at Webster Bank and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at The Hudson Companies, where responsibilities encompassed finance, operations, and human resources. Doug’s career began at PwC as a Senior Staff Accountant, followed by over 20 years at Bank of America in various senior roles within commercial lending. Doug holds an MSL in Taxation from Georgetown University, an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University, and a BA in Psychology from Lake Forest College.
