Cathy Unruh

Cathy Unruh is a versatile professional with extensive experience across various fields. Since January 2015, Cathy has served as the co-founder and director of MEOW Now, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release (TNVR) services for community cats while also fostering and adopting out kittens and supporting community cat caregivers. Additionally, Cathy has been the host of "Up Close with Cathy Unruh" on WEDU Public Media since January 2006, showcasing engaging discussions on pertinent topics. As an author, Cathy's work includes the memoir "Taming Me: Memoir of a Clever Island Cat," which narrates the compelling story of a formerly feral cat named Lucy Miracle. Earlier in her career, Cathy worked as a reporter and anchor at WTVT from 1991 to 1999.
