Jon Rivera

Jon Rivera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jon began their career at VOLCOM as a Sales Associate before moving on to become a Supervisor. Jon then transitioned to Zumiez, where they served as a 2nd Assistant Manager, responsible for various operational tasks such as opening/closing procedures, hiring, and training. Jon later joined Apple as a Technical Specialist, assisting customers with product knowledge, troubleshooting software concerns, and providing exceptional customer service. Jon also worked as a Cellular QA Software Engineer and a Technical Expert during their time at Apple. Currently, Jon is employed at Weedmaps as an Account Manager, a role they assumed after serving as a Sr. Client Support Associate and a Technical Specialist II.

Jon Rivera obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University Channel Islands from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, they also studied International/Global Studies at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) for a brief period. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2013, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Psychology at College of the Sequoias.

Additional certifications Jon Rivera has obtained include being an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) from Apple in March 2019, an Apple Certified iOS Technician from Apple in March 2018, and an Apple Certified Mobile Technician from Apple in March 2017.
