Marcus Ong

Marcus Ong, CPA, currently serves as Assistant Manager in SEC Reporting and Equity at Weedmaps since November 2022, after progressing from Senior Accountant in the same department. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting and Accounting at TravelCenters of America, and multiple positions at Nordson Corporation, including Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant, from August 2017 to April 2022. Marcus began the accounting career as a Financial Accountant at UC Santa Barbara Foundation and gained experience as a Summer Business Intern at NEA. Initial work experience included a role as Office Assistant/Accounts Payable at Aital Glass and Mirror. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara, complemented by studies at Pasadena City College.
