Rui Ascensao is an experienced manufacturing leader currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing at Weetabix since January 2023, overseeing operations across 11 factories in multiple locations. Previously, Rui held roles at Mondelēz International, including Manufacturing Director, where leadership of the Sheffield site encompassed 23 production lines and over 500 employees, and Senior Section Manager, managing the E2E Jellies operation. Prior experience includes key positions at Procter & Gamble, where oversight of haircare packing and fragrance packing operations was prominent, and project management roles at Galp and BA Vidro focused on process creation and production management. Rui Ascensao holds a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
