Murat Baser is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing EU-related projects and civil society initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Project Implementation Unit and Portfolio Manager at WEglobal since May 2021, Murat also holds the position of Project Director for the Avrupa Birliği Sivil Düşün Programı at Sivil Düşün since December 2019. Prior roles include Programme Coordinator at the Directorate for European Union Affairs, where responsibilities included overseeing various EU-funded initiatives, and Programme Coordinator at the Ministry for EU Affairs, focusing on the Civil Society Dialogue between the EU and Turkey. Murat's career began as an SME Expert at KOSGEB and included a stint as a Contract Manager at the Central Finance and Contracts Unit, specializing in EU-funded grant schemes. Murat Baser holds a degree from Gazi University, obtained from the Faculty of Engineering between 1992 and 1996.
