Emil Smith has a diverse range of work experience. Emil founded and served as the CTO of Wehype, which is a large Esport & Gaming media company that reaches billions of gamers worldwide. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Trippus Event Solutions, where they led the development of a new product for their Norwegian branch. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Service and Advice Agent for Social Media at Nordea.
Emil Smith attended Uppsala University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in System Development.

Wehype was founded in 2016 with the purpose of connecting brands and gamers. At Wehype they are convinced that gaming is social and that the virtual presence and high level of interactions happening online everyday, is something that brings people together. Their mission is to show the true face of a gamer and to bridge the gap between the gamingcommunity and the rest of the world.
