Simon Althoff possesses extensive experience in engineering and technology development. Currently serving as the Head of the Smart Connector Competence Center at Weidmüller Deutschland since November 2017, Simon also holds the title of Technology Developer. Previously, Simon was associated with Universität Paderborn from February 2010 to October 2017, where responsibilities included leading teams focused on vibrations, dynamics, tribology, and ultrasonic bonding, while also contributing as a research associate. A guest lecturer in mechanics at Qingdao University of Science and Technology from March 2013 to April 2014, Simon's earlier career included roles as a project engineer and leader at CLAAS and academic studies in industrial engineering with a focus on mechanics at Universität Paderborn.
