Christy Solomon is a seasoned fashion designer with extensive experience in costume and performance design. Currently serving as Senior Designer at Weissman Theatrical Supplies since November 2019, Christy has previously held prominent roles at RDG Global LLC and LF Distribution Holding Inc., where key responsibilities included concept development, trend research, and collaboration with technical teams for garment execution. Past positions also include freelance design work for major brands such as JCPenney and Calvin Klein, showcasing a strong ability to create seasonal collections, design technical packages, and lead market presentations. Christy holds a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Marketing & Design from American InterContinental University and an Associate of Arts in Menswear Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Weissman sells wholesale to businesses, and also direct to consumer under Dancewear Solutions. House brands include Weissman costumes and Balera dancewear. Its products are sold domestically and around the globe. Founded over 60 years ago by Rose and Julius Weissman, Weissman is an industry leader in design quality, technology and customer relations.
