Irit Sagi is a prominent figure in the field of biological regulation and technology transfer. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Directors at Yeda - Technology Transfer Company of Weizmann Institute of Science and as the Founder of BINA, Irit Sagi also holds the positions of Vice President of Technology Transfer and Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science since 1997, focusing on cellular microenvironments and the extracellular matrix. Previous roles include Dean of the Feinberg Graduate School and Associate Professor across multiple departments at the Weizmann Institute, along with a sabbatical professorship at Harvard University and a visiting professorship at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. Irit Sagi earned a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Georgetown University and conducted postdoctoral research in Structural Biology at the Weizmann Institute.
