Ori Avinoam

Ori Avinoam is an accomplished scientist currently serving as a Group Leader and Principal Investigator at the Weizmann Institute of Science since January 2017, while also acting as the Founder and Scientific Advisor for ProFuse Technology since June 2021. Previous experience includes a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at EMBL from June 2012 to December 2016, accompanied by significant teaching roles, such as instructor for advanced microscopy courses. Ori Avinoam earned a Ph.D. in Life Sciences with a focus on Cell and Developmental Biology from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where additional academic contributions were made through teaching assistant roles and serving as Chair of the Technion Graduate Student Organization. Earlier professional experience includes work as a Customer Services Representative at Pelephone.
