Penny J. Miceli

Penny J. Miceli, PhD, CRA, currently serves as the Associate Director of Sponsored Research at Wellesley College since September 2018. Previously, Penny held the position of Director of the Office of Sponsored Projects & Research at Keene State College from September 2008 to June 2018, where responsibilities included leading a capacity building strategy for research and sponsored programs. Penny's prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director for Post Award Administration in the Office of Research at the University of Notre Dame, providing support for externally sponsored research agreements, as well as Assistant Director for Preaward Administration at the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts at the same institution, focusing on grant processes for federal agencies. Early career experience includes working at Press Ganey Associates as a Research Associate/Research Product Manager, contributing to research in the healthcare industry. Penny earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology and a Master's degree from the University of Notre Dame, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from PennWest Edinboro.
