Phillip Levine is a distinguished economist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Non-resident Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution and as Founder and CEO of MyinTuition Corp., Levine has developed a simplified financial aid calculator aimed at improving access to higher education for low and moderate income students. Holding the position of Katharine Coman and A. Hepburn Professor of Economics at Wellesley College since July 1991, Levine has also contributed as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research since 1994 and served as Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisors in the White House from 1996 to 1997. Levine earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
