Previously Nilima was vice president, Market Analytics, Products and Solutions at Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), which operates as Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. In this role she provided strategic and operational leadership for the full product portfolio for employers, fully-insured and self-funded, from concept to commercialization gaining a broad understanding of member and customer needs as well as health plan operations.
Prior to HCSC, Nilima worked at the Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Association where she led strategic assessments for the BCBS Board of Blue Plan CEOs and initiatives for the Blues, directed the competitive intelligence function and was responsible for employer research. She also spent five years at ZS Associates, a professional services firm delivering sales and marketing-focused projects for large pharmaceutical companies.
Nilima serves on the Board of Esperanza Health Centers, an FQHC serving the communities of Chicago’s southwest side. She has an M.S. in Information Systems Management from Loyola University Chicago and a BA with Honors in Economics from Delhi University.
