Danilo MacHado

Danilo Machado is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Sr Software Engineer Director at Gympass since December 2020, Danilo oversees the development of APIs, partner portals, payout systems, and wellness app integrations. In addition to this role, Danilo is an investor at WOW Aceleradora. Prior experience includes serving as CTO at Laureate Digital, where responsibilities encompassed development and UX teams, and open innovation strategies. As the Head of EdTech at KICK Ventures, Danilo contributed to managing a diverse portfolio of startups across several countries. Danilo's early career at UOL involved significant leadership positions including CTO/CIO and General Project Manager, where Danilo was pivotal in developing key services and implementing agile methodologies. Danilo holds degrees from prestigious institutions, including a program in Artificial Intelligence at MIT, an MBA from FGV, and software engineering credentials from USP.
