James Capps

James Capps, CAPM, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Sourcing & Procurement at WellMed Medical Management, overseeing over 700 vendor relationships across diverse products and services since May 2018. Prior to this, James held the roles of Project Coordinator and Operations Manager in the United States Air Force from August 2012 to January 2018, directing clinical workflows for multiple ophthalmic specializations and managing significant personnel. James began a career in healthcare as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at EYE Associates of Tallahassee, P.A. from March 2007 to July 2012, where responsibilities included performing visual assessments and managing medical records. Education includes ongoing PhD studies in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Liberty University, alongside multiple master's and bachelor's degrees in psychology, analytics, and information technology.
