Richard J. T. has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Richard J. began their career in 1984 at EY as a Senior Accountant, where they worked for three years. In 1987, they joined Duff & Phelps as a Portfolio Manager and contributed for almost seven years before transitioning to Victory Capital in 1994. At Victory Capital, Richard held the position of Director of Equity and Fixed Income Research for an impressive twenty years. In 2014, they joined Wellspring Financial Advisors as the Chief Investment Officer and Senior Managing Director, where they currently serve.

Richard J. T. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Following that, they pursued an MBA degree in Accounting & Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, from 1983 to 1985. Additionally, Richard obtained a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College of Financial Services between 2013 and 2017.

In terms of certifications, Richard J. T. holds the CAIA Charterholder designation from the CAIA Association, which they earned in April 2014. Richard J. is also a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, having obtained this certification from the CFA Institute in September 1990. Lastly, they hold an inactive Certified Public Accountant license from the AICPA, earned in August 1986.
