Danny Branstetter

Danny Branstetter serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director at Wellstar Health System since September 2012. Prior to this role, Danny was an Instructor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine from November 2009 to August 2012 and completed a Clinical Fellowship in the same division at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from July 2007 to October 2009. Danny’s medical training includes serving as an Internal Medicine Resident at Emory University School of Medicine from July 2004 to June 2007. Danny holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine and a Master in Health Care Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, Danny has a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University.
