Michelle Jesse

Michelle Jesse, PhD, FAST, currently serves as a Clinical Health Psychologist and Associate Director of Consultation-Liaison Behavioral Health at Wellstar Health System since January 2024. In addition, Michelle holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine since 2016. Previous roles include Senior Staff Psychologist and Director of Resident Research at Henry Ford Health System, along with serving as an Adjunct Research Scientist at the Center for Health Policy & Health Services Research. Michelle earned a PhD in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2005-2013), a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato (2002-2004), and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia (1997-2001).
