Jill Murphey

Jill Murphey serves as the Director of Global Privacy and International Commercial Counsel at The Wendy's Company since September 2019, previously holding the role of Sr. Legal Counsel. Jill gained substantial experience as Associate General Counsel at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from August 2018 to August 2019 and as Assistant General Counsel at OCLC from January 2015 to July 2018. Jill has a strong background in corporate and compliance issues, proficiency in negotiating contracts, and a reputation for building partnerships with business clients and stakeholders to achieve beneficial outcomes while minimizing risks. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Attorney at Bailey Cavalieri LLC, focusing on secured transactions and regulatory compliance, and as a Corporate Paralegal at Bailey Cavalieri, LLC. Jill holds a J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Government from Ohio Wesleyan University.
