Zeyad Mahmoud, PhD, currently serves as Strategy and Impact Manager at WentWest - Western Sydney PHN since April 2024, following a tenure as Senior Policy Advisor at NSW Health. Zeyad previously held the position of Strategic Policy, Advocacy & Research Manager at WentWest, where key achievements included significantly increasing policymaker engagement and establishing a strategic research framework. Past experience also encompasses roles at HealthConsult Pty Ltd as Manager of Policy, Strategy & Evaluation, and as a Researcher at Macquarie University, where Zeyad authored 20 publications and presented at 11 global conferences. Additionally, Zeyad served as a Lecturer and Convenor at Université de Nantes and started the career at BERTHAULT Engineering as a Business Development Associate. Educational credentials include PhDs in Health Innovation and Management from Macquarie University and Nantes Université, respectively, as well as business degrees from IEMN-IAE. Recently completed the Foundations of Directorship program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
