Amardeo Sarma is currently the Managing Director of Scientific Temper gUG, a non-profit organization focused on promoting science and critical thinking globally since October 2023. With extensive experience in industrial research spanning over 43 years and 40 years in leadership roles within science-based NGOs, Amardeo Sarma also serves as an Advisor for the Trust in Digital Life Association and Chairman of RePlanet since February 2022. Previous roles include extensive positions at NEC Laboratories Europe and GWUP e.V., as well as leadership in T-Systems, EURESCOM, and Deutsche Telekom Technologiezentrum Darmstadt, where research on ATM and signalling protocols was conducted. Amardeo Sarma holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
