Mads Engholm

Mads Engholm has extensive experience in the fields of psychiatry, social welfare, and urban development. Currently serving as a spokesperson for PsykiatriAlliancen since August 2021, Mads also holds the position of chairman at Bedre Psykiatri and WeShelter, organizations focused on supporting individuals affected by mental health issues and homelessness. In Københavns Kommune, Mads works as a special consultant, coordinating urban development tasks across various municipal departments and previously served as a fullmægtig in technical and environmental services. Mads has led multiple initiatives in regional psychiatric collaboration and the social housing sector, holding leadership roles in organizations such as the Psykiatriforeningernes Fællesråd and Sekstanten. Educational qualifications include a Cand.scient.anth. in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen, along with certifications in project management.
