Kim Barnes is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in the field of animal sciences. Currently serving as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor at West Virginia University since 2007, Barnes also directs the Intercollegiate Undergraduate Program in Biochemistry and previously held the position of Assistant Professor. Prior to this role, Barnes was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2005 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Michigan State University and both a Master of Science and PhD in Animal Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
